Caneck Culinary Camp
Overview
Caneck Culinary Camp with Aggie Dining is a hands-on, two-day cooking experience designed for teens interested in learning real culinary skills in a fun and engaging environment. Hosted at Sbisa Dining Hall, this camp welcomes teens from across the region and beyond to experience a professional kitchen environment while building confidence through hands-on instruction from an experienced culinary team.
Participants will learn foundational cooking techniques, prepare a variety of recipes from start to finish, and explore creativity in the kitchen. Each day, attendees will leave with the meal they prepared, reinforcing both practical skills and a sense of accomplishment.
Camp sessions will take place June 1–2 and July 23–24, with programming running from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The camp is open to teens ages 13–18, with space limited to 30 participants per session to ensure a personalized, hands-on experience.
The registration fee is $64 per participant. For attendees under the age of 16, a parent or guardian is required to attend for an additional $35. All participants must complete an online waiver prior to the event.
Caneck Culinary Camp is a great opportunity for young people to develop lifelong cooking skills, gain independence in the kitchen, and enjoy a unique summer experience at Aggie Dining.
