Thank you for your interest in promoting your event through the Visit College Station Calendar of Events. We are more than happy to help spread the word about your event!
Please review the Event Calendar Guidelines below before submitting your event. Inclusion in the Calendar is up to the discretion of the Visit College Station team.
Guidelines:
Our primary purpose is to list visitor-friendly events held in College Station. These events include, but are not limited to: festivals, food/wine events, sports, concerts, theatre, dance, and cultural programs.
Event Posting Requirements:
- Events must be open to the public and of interest to potential visitors. Membership-only events will not be accepted.
- Please submit a brief 50-70 word description, along with a high-resolution photo, the event name, location, sponsoring organization, contact information, hours, ticket prices, and a valid website address.
Events not likely to be approved include, but are not limited to:
- Fundraisers and charity functions (Includes 5K/10K runs, golf tournaments, dinners and more)
- Daily dining specials (except for certain holidays such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, etc.)
- Regular happy hours
- Networking and membership-only events
- Pet adoptions
- Open houses and real estate functions
- Events located outside of College Station and the surrounding area that are not of a regional nature.
What Do We Do With Your Event(s)?
When community partners submit events to us, they are considered for inclusion in promotional materials and our social media outlets. In addition, events are considered to be included in publications/websites that Visit College Station may advertise in/on. Your submission does not guarantee inclusion in promotional materials, social media outlets, or publications.
Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process, which may take up to 5 business days, to ensure it is appropriate for our calendar and contains all the information needed to be added. You will be notified if your event is not approved.
