Submit Your Event

The Visit College Station team is always sourcing events for our online events calendar, and partners and local event organizers can also submit their own for consideration. We look for events with broad visitor appeal — things a guest staying in town would want to build a trip around, or that would enhance or extend their stay. The more we know about what's happening, the better we can help visitors discover something to see and do while they're here.

Please review the Event Calendar Guidelines below before submitting your event. Inclusion in the Calendar is up to the discretion of the Visit College Station team.

Submit Event Form

Guidelines:

Our primary purpose is to list visitor-friendly events held in College Station. These events include, but are not limited to: festivals, food/wine events, sports, concerts, theater, dance and cultural programs. 

Event Posting Requirements:

Community partners, including venues, organizations, Texas A&M departments and event organizers, may submit events through the form on our website. All submissions are reviewed and approved by our Marketing team before being posted.

All event submissions must include:

  • Event name
  • Date(s) and time(s)
  • Location (must be in College Station, with limited approved exceptions in Bryan)
  • Public access details (free, ticketed, or registration link)
  • A brief 50-70 word visitor-facing event description (please avoid internal jargon)
  • A high-quality image, horizonal is preferred (no flyers, posters or text-heavy graphics)
  • Website and/or ticket link (if there is not a place where visitors can get more detailed info, we will automatically deny the submission request)
  • Contact information (for internal use only)

Events not likely to be approved include, but are not limited to:

  • Private events, networking-only events, church services, school fairs or hyper-local community events with limited visitor appeal
  • Fundraisers and charity functions (including galas, 5K/10K runs, golf tournaments and charity dinners)
  • Weekly recurring bar specials (e.g., "$3 wells," industry nights)
  • Standard weekly trivia, karaoke or bingo nights
  • Generic DJ/musical artist nights with no distinguishing hook
  • Daily dining specials (except for select holidays such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, etc.)
  • Pet adoptions, open houses and real estate functions
  • Events located outside of College Station

For bars and entertainment venues, we're more likely to feature live music with known or regional acts, themed events tied to game weekends or holidays, ticketed or promoted events, multi-venue happenings like bar crawls or Northgate activations, unique experiences like whiskey tastings or chef pop-ups and large-scale watch parties — especially for major TAMU or international sporting events.

What Do We Do With Your Event(s)?

When community partners submit events to us, they are also considered, but not guranteed, for inclusion in promotional materials and our social media outlets.

Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process, which may take up to 3 business days, to ensure it is appropriate for our calendar and contains all the information needed to be added. You will be notified if your event is not approved.
