Texas A&M Recreational Center
Overview
The Texas A&M Student Recreation Center opened in 1995 and is over 400,000 square feet. It is home to the Texas A&M Archery, Handball, Racquetball, Men's and Women's Water Polo Club. The Natatorium is located on the first floor. The facility has 14,000 square feet of weight and fitness space, a walking/running track, fourteen handball/racquetball/squash courts, four activity rooms, court space that can be divided up into 4 basketball, 4 volleyball, or 6 badminton courts. The facility also has two regulation size indoor soccer courts, an indoor climbing facility, outdoor activity area, and tons of space for special events.
The Indoor Courts at Texas A&M’s Student Rec Center offer a dynamic space for both sports and recreation enthusiasts. With 10 multi-purpose courts, they can accommodate various activities including basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and badminton, making them a hub for diverse athletic pursuits. Additionally, there are 14 racquetball, handball, and squash courts available for those seeking fast-paced racquet sports action.
