Aggieland Outfitters
Overview
A family owned and operated store that sells clothing and accessories for men and women, as well as little Aggies, pets, offices, etc. Fadi Kalaouze is a 1991 A&M graduate, moving to College Station in 1983 to study at Texas A&M. When faced with finishing at A&M or having to return home, Kalaouze had to get creative and he noticed a population boom starting in Aggieland with a lot of proud Aggies who loved to wear Aggie memorabilia. Kalaouze set up a folding table at the Memorial Students Center and sold t-shirts to pay his way through school. After graduation, Kalaouze and his wife, a class of 1990 A&M graduate from Norway named Hege, opened the Inspirations store in Post Oak Mall in July of 1992 (the location has moved since). The Kalaouze family then opened Aggieland Outfitters in July of 2000. Aggieland Outfitters and Inspirations has grown to three storefronts and their family has grown as well, they have three children. The Kalaouze family businesses provide employment for over 60 individuals in the Brazos valley, many of whom are proud Aggies.
