Overview
Developed in 1979, Stephen C. Beachy Central Park serves as one of the premier outdoor spaces in the city. With 106.68 acres of land and over 300 parking spaces, there is plenty of room for events of all sizes. Amenities include four lighted softball fields with batting cages, three lighted athletic fields, a basketball court, sand volleyball court, two lighted tennis courts, wooded walking trails, a pavilion equipped with a full kitchen, a pond stocked monthly by Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the brand new, fully accessible Fun For All Playground and Splash Pad. Central Park can accommodate RV parking for tournament weekends, and our parks department offices are just steps away.
