Travel and tourism professionals from across the state gather at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center starting Monday, June 14, for the Texas Travel Alliance’s Travel and Tourism College certification program. Nearly 100 students and instructors are expected to participate.

The intensive one-week program includes marketing, management, and leadership courses and features discussion groups and networking events. University professors, thought leaders, trendsetters, and industry CEOs from across the western United States teach the classes.

Returning students take second- or third-year classes. After completing the three-year program and a capstone project, graduates receive the designation of Certified Tourism Executive.
